Porter is 3 years old, and I am so excited for him! I am a bit shocked that he is growing up so fast, but he is ready to be a big kid! Porter's birthday was actually on Monday, but we didn't get to really celebrate until Tuesday night so that John could be there. Porter chose for his cake this year a "Bug Mountain", and I had fun decorating it for him. His favorite gifts were his new Superman Cape and Magformers (really cool magnetic building toys).
Here are some fun facts about Porter right now:
Favorite foods : Apples, Oranges, Grapes...basically any fruit, and Sugar (He will actually tell you "I wuf {love} sugar. Uh-oh)
Favorite movies: Mulan and Spiderman
Favorite toy: Anything that resembles a sword or gun
Favorite game: Duck Duck Goose
Favorite books: "Bad Dog Marley", "The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear", "The Big Green Monster" and "The Very Busy Spider"
Porter is a very indepedent little kid, and loves to make his own decisions. He also loves to play with Ivy, help Mom in the kitchen, and wrestle with Daddy. Porter is great at taking turns, and is very sweet to babies and kids younger than him. He is looking forward to starting a tumbling class this month, and swim lessons in the summer. He is also excited about starting preschool in the fall (although some days he'll tell you he's not). He is such a talkative little kid, and has a very cute voice and lingo. We "wuf" our Porter-man, and are so thankful that he's a part of our family! It just wouldn't be the same without him! Happy 3rd birthday buddy!

Oh, my, goodness, can't believe he's 3!! What a cutie, and I LOVE his cake. That had to be a ton of fun.
