By the time New Year's Eve came around, we were feeling done with parties. So, we ended up just staying at home with the kids. We had fun dancing to music, toasting with Martinelli's, and ended up the night with a good game of Go Ape ( like Go Fish, but using Monkey actions to describe your cards). I loved hanging out with Ivy and Porter to ring in the new year! Or at least to ring in 9pm. Tanner was still not feeling great, so he went to bed even earlier than normal. He was totally fine with that though. John was headed back to work the next day, after having a wonderful 8 days off! So we watched a movie, and went to bed before midnight. Are we getting older, or just wiser?!
